• User Accounts: If you sign up using your email or social accounts (Google/Apple), we securely register your basic profile details (name, email, profile picture) on our database servers.
• Expense Sharing: Groups, friends, expense transactions, and split records are synchronized to our servers so you can access your account across multiple devices in real-time.
• Local Caching: All sync details are cached securely in the application's local sandbox on your phone for offline availability.

2. How We Use the Information

We use your registered account details solely to enable expense tracking, split logic calculations, sync capabilities, and to process Pro Plan memberships. We do not sell or share your personal transaction data with third parties.

3. Third-Party Integrations

We integrate with reputable third-party SDKs to provide essential features:

• Google Sign-In / Apple Authentication: Used securely to authenticate your account.
• Razorpay Gateway: Used for secure, encrypted payments when upgrading to Splitmaro Pro. We never store your payment card or banking details on our servers.

4. Data Deletion

You can request to delete your account and all associated transaction records from our servers by contacting us at support.

This Privacy Policy explains how The Hindu Calendar collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application ("The Hindu Calendar & Panchang").

1. Information We Collect

The Hindu Calendar is designed to be completely private and offline. We do not collect any personal identifiable information (PII) or transmit calendar logs to external servers.

• Device Location: We may request permission to access your device's GPS location. This is used solely to compute precise local sunrise, sunset, panchang details, and moonrise timings for your exact location. Location data is processed locally on your device and is never saved or transmitted.
• Local Storage: Any custom reminders or saved festival bookmarks are stored locally on your device's sandbox storage.

2. Third-Party Services

We do not serve targeted ads or use trackers. The application runs entirely on your device with no external network requirements for daily calculations.

3. Security of Your Data

Since all panchang calculations and settings reside on your physical device, your data is as secure as your phone. Removing the application permanently deletes all saved reminders and bookmarks.
